The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the following suspect and vehicle:
On July 31, 2018, at approximately 1:00 PM, a white Mercedes SUV pulled onto the 1700 block of South Avondale Street and stopped at Belmar & Avondale Streets when an unknown black male wearing a white T-shirt exited the driver’s seat. That male fired numerous shots from a black handgun at another male sitting in front of a house on the block. The offender then returned to the Mercedes and fled north on Avondale Street. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Suspect Description: Black male, medium build, wearing a white T-shirt, and bluejeans.
Vehicle Description: 2016-18 White Mercedes GLA 250 SUV.
